DIVINE MERCY (DM) SUNDAY AT HOLY TRINITY CHURCH TAWAU

Tawau : In conjunction with the Divine Mercy (DM) Sunday or Feast of Mercy, the DM team organised the Holy Mass on 2nd Sunday of Easter, 6th April 2013. This was followed by a potluck fellowship in the evening at St. Clare's Convent.

Before The Feast of Mercy, the team had successfully completed the nine-day Novena to the DM, starting on Good Friday. This was done accordingly, following the instruction of Jesus Himself to St. Faustina (see diary, 796).

 

Attended by about 150 people, the fellowship was a very joyful occasion with a variety of food. Also in attendance were the rector Msgr. Nicholas Ong, his assistant Rev. Fr. David Garaman, PPC members, religious and youth.

To the delight of all present, the “ICE CREAM CORNER” (apart from the “LECUN”) was the favourite, not only for the young but also for the not so old!

The team is looking forward to hold future similar celebrations in a bigger scale to include all other parishioners.
