Sandakan : The Catholic Nurses Guild (CNG) led by Chairperson Agnes Gaduka, Matron Jocelyn Angar and 15 other members visited St Mary's Hostel on Saturday, 10th. April 2010.
The visit was a good gesture of the guild which gave much encouragement to the 26 boarders of the hostel for they are not forgotten as part of the parish community especially during the season.of Easter
The occasion began with the recitation of the rosary followed by the Proclamation of the Word. Matron Jocelyn shared on the word.
The nurses then gave a talk on oral health care which enhanced their awareness on the importance of oral health.
The boys were presented with gifts consisting of materials for their oral care.
The occasion ended with a fellowship and a group photograph taken to comemorate the visit.
CNG will continue to support the hostel boys and will visit them periodically.
