A VISIT TO ST. MARY'S SECONDARY SCHOOL

Sandakan : YB Datuk V.K.Liew, Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister Department who is also the Member of Parliament for Sandakan made a brief visit to St Mary’s Secondary School on Sunday 12th April 2009. On hand to receive him were Puan Evelyn Chang, the Senior Assistant of the School and Henry Wong, Chairman of the Board of Governors. He was brought to see the depilated Badminton Hall, the grand stand and the facilities for extra curricular activities.

Datuk V.K.Liew expressed concern of the condition and safety of the said hall and advised the school authority and the board members to come out with a proposal to repair and upgrade the existing premise. He assured that he will endeavor to assist in whatever means possible. He granted approval for the upgrade work to the present grand stand and requested the school authority to submit a quotation of the said job to his office the soonest possible.
