Ephphatha which means "be opened", spoken by Jesus (Mark 7:34)

St. Mary’s Cathedral Sandakan: The day that all catechumens are waiting for had arrived. On Saturday morning 31st March 2018, all candidates will be receiving “Ephphatha”, the Aramaic word meaning “be opened”, which was spoken by Jesus in the Gospel of Mark 7:32. It will be given by our Parish Priest, Fr David Garaman, in preparation for them to receive the Sacrament of Initiation during the night of the Easter Vigil.

A total of 60 candidates attended: 48 candidates from the BM class, 8 candidates from the English class and 4 candidates from the Chinese class.
