Youth Leaders' Camp - IV In Telupid Is Now Activated!

YLC IV Main Organizing Team

TELUPID : The Diocesan Youth Leaders' Camp (YLC) is a yearly program initiated by the Diocesan Youth Apostolate (DYA) to cater to the needs of youth leaders from across the Diocese of Sandakan.  YLC - I was held at St. Mary's Cathedral from 2nd to 6th February 2012; YLC - II at Holy Trinity, Tawau from 23rd to 27th January 2013 and YLC - III at St. Dominic, Lahad Datu from 5th to 9th February 2014. YLC - IV is scheduled to be held from 25th February to 1st March 2015 at St. Martin, Telupid. YLC covers the four essential key points in life ~ balance, prayer, directions and skills.

The first meeting of the main organizing team was held on 26th September 2014 at St. Martin, Telupid. The focus of the meeting was to assign all scope of duties to team members of St. Martin's Parish Youth Apostolate (PYA) and to brainstorm on the upcoming YLC theme. The second meeting will be on 28th October where the organizing team will deliberate further on the theme, objectives, rational and the official logo for YLC - IV.

Hildy Albert, the coordinator for St. Martin's PYA reminded the team members to carry out their duties sincerely and not to compare with the previous YLCs held in the other parishes. Anna Teresa, the DYA and Camp coordinator appealed to all team members to carry out their tasks for Jesus and not to impress on others.
