Tawau : The Catholic Women's Apostolate ( CWA )
organized the annual Children Christmas Party at Holy Trinity Parish Hall on Sunday, 16th December 2012 from 11.30 am to 2.00 pm. It was organized to bring fun and cheers to children below 12 years
old during the festive season. More to that, it was aimed to gather the little children of the various races and cultures, instilling in them the sense of unity and peace.
Children are God's gift. Guiding and leading them to fullness of life is the obligation of all parents. 'Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.' ~ Proverb 22 : 6. Children are innocent and through this
event they could easily mingle and blend themselves in the group without concerning who they are but enjoying each moment together as friends. Some 300 children together with their parents attended the event.
The program of the day began with an Opening Prayer led by Sr. Rusiah FSIC followed by a welcoming speech by Mario Domingo, the PPC chairman.
The PPC chairman
addressed all parents by saying, 'Pass on the baton of faith to our Children so that they may grow up firmly grounded and built up in faith. Make this year, the Year of Faith to share
and to deepen our faith, so that we become the model to our children in all that we say and do. We can not pass anything to our children that we do not possess.'
Assisted by members of the Parish Youth Apostolate, children’s were divided into groups according to age for games which ended at 2.00 pm in the
afternoon.
What's up friends, its great article about teachingand entirely defined, keep it up all the time.
