Parish Hall Building Fund: Charity Fashion Show

Lahad Datu – The second season of Mister and Miss Dominican Fashion Show was held on the 6^th November 2016. It was a charity fashion show over a sumptuous dinner to raise money for the church building fund.

A total of 13 participants were involved as finalists for this season and took part as the church ambassador in raising fund. These finalists were from the Basic Ecclesial Community (BEC) of St Dominic, Lahad Datu. It was another great celebration held with in the Church to gather all parishioners together in celebrating this joyful moment. 

Bishop Julius Gitom, who in his address mentioned that we are all united through the Holy Spirit in this life. I believe that this unity was seen when all parishioners gathered to donate in this event. According to the organizer, the donation collected for the event has reached RM13 thousand; a praise worthy achievement from all the organizing team. As for the finalists, through the voting tickets sold to the parishioners coupled by their hard work and effort to entertain the parishioners were the highlight that paved the way for the success of the event.
