Diocese of Sandakan
Holy Trinity Church of Tawau will host the 2nd anniversary celebration of the erection of the Diocese of Sandakan and the Episcopal Ordination of Rt Rev Bishop Julius Gitom DD on 16th to 17th October 2009.

The grand celebration will begin on 16th October 2009 with a dinner fellowship at Holy Trinity Church Parish Hall at 7 pm. There will be sharings from among the parishes of their experiences in the new diocese over the last 2 years. Representatives of the lay faithful, religious and all diocesan priests from all the parishes are expected to attend the function.
The following day, 17th October 2009 will be the Eucharistic Celebration at Holy Trinity Church at 9 am. This will be followed by a lunch fellowship with presentations from each parish at the parish hall. The celebration is expected to end by 1.30 pm.
